2.You must assist any potato farmer if they are spontaneously attacked.
3.Do not fight another potato farmer
4.If you have any rank above Farmhand you must not start fights without the current presidents sanction.

While I'm getting quite tired of all the dictatorships on here I have to applaud you for having the balls to come out and just say that you are one instead of pretending it's some sort of democracy. You also seem to have far fewer rules than either BnL or Han-arr. I expect you'll do much better than either of them.

The Ensorceler

Are you planning on raising space-cows?

nope just a name but might ask dirk if he could add or someone else could mod a spud gun

Assuming we will have potatoes as one of the luxury foodstuffs (or that we can mod potatoes or potato material into the game - a safe assumption), you could certainly make a potato projectile and mount it on a ferrous frame for launching from a gauss gun. :)

@insolent You mean a railgun right? Not a gauss gun? Either way the projectile itself has to be ferrous for it to work so unless you shove a chunk of iron into your potato you're out of luck. Oh oh you could make a missile with a potato warhead that splatters all over enemy ships! I don't see what that would accomplish though.

@Ryulord: A railgun or a gauss gun - both will be in the game by the time multiplayer is implemented. :) And gauss guns (employing circular magnets) might be the better choice. See the current mag cannon design, which is modular, for a planned method of launching projectiles of various size.

Edit: Oh, and of course it has to be ferrous - that's why I suggested mounting the potato material on a ferrous frame.

Oh I missed that part.

But yeah, a potato warhead wouldn't be that useful, would it? Apart from some symbolic value for the Potato Farmers, that is. :P

Edit: Oops, double post. That seems to happen when I post from my phone.
